Water is the most important commodity on our planet, because water is the basis of all life! Most water is found in the sea. Only a very small part of the world's water supply consists of fresh water. Most of this, in turn, is bound up as glaciers at the North and South Poles. Only about 0.3 per cent of the world's fresh water is actually available to people as drinking water! Water is therefore very valuable.

 

Industrial water treatment is a process for recovering fresh water and conserving resources. Pollution or contaminants are removed from the process water. Almost any type of contamination or pollutant can be purified using our processes. The increasingly important future topic of ‘chemical-free water treatment’ is therefore one of our most important technologies.

Significantly lower operating costs and higher recovery of reusable water are our unique selling points. Another application would be the concentration of liquids in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. One example of this is the production of fruit juice concentrate.
